There are a few Wire Patches for Resolume Avenue/Arena that I would like help creating and dialing in.
The one at the top of the list would be this custom Alpha Video Transition that is an iteration of the native "Video Bumper" transition. Some people call this a "Video Stinger" as well. You can see the thread here:

I am familiar with visual programming and can define the features we are looking for however I am not able to produce the correct workflow in the Wire program and would like to hire some help to get it finished.
Is there anyone in this community that can help?
Given how much help the community has shown already, and that this original Wire Patch is an iteration of the one that ships natively, I would want the final result to be free and open for anyone to use. Maybe one day this gets rolled into production??
Below I will outline what we are looking to achieve and I would like to understand if every feature is possible, only some, etc. (The original thread details the Minimum Viable Product with a few working examples and good screenshots.) Most of the work is likely already done we just need a few finishing touches.
The Goal:
To easily create a "show" file for visual experiences that are more of a playlist than a live VJ setup. Think very automated and giving the client only a giant play and pause button.
Imagine you have a walk in look, x5 1 minute videos as the show, and then a walk out look.
We can do all of this right now but the stock transitions are simple variants of a cross fade and we want to have a custom clip with an alpha channel with sound go "over" the transition between the first and next of the 1 minute videos.
This way the transitions can be very cool, custom, and easy to change out and there are no hard cuts in between or simple cross fades.
As some may already be aware the user can only choose x1 transition type per layer at a time so we want to pack the optionality of using a different alpha transition clip into one Wire Patch so it can be the same Transition type each time but a different actual alpha transition each time. Not sure if that makes complete sense...
Features:
• Alpha Transition Video "Over the Top" of the underlying clips
• Transition up to 10 seconds
• Works with any resolution and aspect ratio
• Choose 1 of 6 videos from a local file
• Skip any slots if no video is used/present.
• Option to "Randomize" or "Autopilot" the Alpha Transition clip being used. I.e. only use the #1 video OR advance the next in sequential order after a transition OR choose the next randomly after a transition. Kind of like Autopilot for layers.
• SOUND is enabled in the Alpha Transition. Very important! Can this be done for a transition?
• Settings are saved and ready to use the next time the show is loaded.
Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Hey man, I've sent you something as a DM... And you can send me a DM or you can look me up on our Slack. I can see if I can help you out more.

Transitions blends and Wire patches don't support audio currently.
What you can do if you want audio, would be inserting the transition clips as actual clips into a layer, and set them up with a custom time for auto pilot on the clip or column level.
To start the transition, you'd then trigger the "transition clip" or it's column.
The layer transition time would needed to be set up also.
