Hi all,
This maybe of topic but i need to try. I´m doing graphics for a client that are using led screens that runs across a arena. So really looking for software to handle this and found Resolume but not sure if it will work as i need to edit and export a video.
I´m used to work in Davinci, Premiere and some After Effects. But the seemless transition between these 16 blocks in layers is something another software can handle easier?
So, the resolution is 192px high and is divided in 16blocks with each 2304px wide that form a C shape around the arena. Not a full ring so there is a start and end of the screen setup. So how you see the screens it´s a 192px by 36864px long screen !
How the arena software reads this exported video file, it´s a 2304px x 3072px video ( 192px x 16panels stacked on top of eachother)
So how do i set this up if i want a seemless graphics between the screens?
As an example, a logo that moves around the arena screens from left to right. When the logo leaves the 2304 wide canvas it needs to show up in left side row B etc.
Attached the image how the film should be exported i hope that helps.
I have some idea i will be trying out but it´s a bit complicated and not so easy to change if adjustements are needed.
If Resolume is the wrong software maybe someone can point me in the right direction, thanks in advance.

Export for arena led screens
Re: Export for arena led screens
Sounds like a making content question. In after effects or whatever I’d make a full width clip that you make the content in, then chop it up in another comp to fit the mapping.
Led processor looks at the same and you have seamless mapping. Not sure any codecs would support a 16x2304px. If they could chop it up resolumes slicing. But usually you content to suit the layout for things like this.

Re: Export for arena led screens
Hi,
Exactly, tried that. But the full with resolution is too big for the software: AE, Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro.
Davinci wont let me go under the 192pxl height.
And if i were to make it half resolution and export in full (if that works)

On most GPUs the max texture size will be 32768x 32768pixels
your video's width won't fit into that.
