I know that you dumped R2, but it's really shame because it's a great program and a lot of users still prefer it over Avenue, and with just few modifications it would be perfect! Win7 is really great OS and by the next year a lot of user will transfer to it. I didn't try running Avenue on it thought...

Win7 and R2.41

Did anyone tried running it under Win7?
I have and it's kind of working, haven't tried much but sliders in effect parameters are not working, especially speed (''falling menu one'')
What about you experience and did you find solutions to any kind of problem.

Seems like the problem lies in one of the plugins, but don't know which one (fugVideoSampler, PeteLiveFeed or similar).

Totally rock solid and than piece of unstable sh**!
However my became unstable after reinstalling windows (service stuff).
For now seemed OK but now started crashing after exiting it.
Hope it will stay like that, hm...
Anybody knows why is this happening ?

I think you should try it, scan cov. costs 100€ and cable 20€ so...
Mine was a cheap one and it's working so far

I don't know about mpd, that controller was great for resolume 2 because of all those pads. I would personally go for something with more knobs and faders. If you already have x-session than maybe OK, but if you think of buying x-session and akai then you should reconsider it and find something like...
