When applying the Fragment vfx to a clip with premultiplied alpha, the output renders with black background instead of the combined alpha.
Edit: It seems that Heat and Recoloure don't handle the alpha channel correctly, neither.
Edit #2: Also some of the transitions seem to just ignore the alpha ...

Re: Twitch and Noisy Transitions
Thanks for letting me know, Sadler! Just sent FrParameters to spring retreat to improve its social skills. It will be back soon...Sadler wrote:Also, Noisy (transition and effect) and FRParameters don't like each other. When they're both applied and enabled (or in transition) the output is black. For me anyway.

Auto Fade-In for New Effects Applied
Right now effects are either at 100% opacity (by default) or at 0% opacity (ALT) when drag 'n dropped onto a clip. What about an option/key to automatically fade in effects? Ideally with some predefined time or number of beats which could be predefined in the preferences tab.
Anyone else?

Re: Smarter installer/Upgrade process OS-X
Hi Joris,
I was talking about the preferences in general and specifically the 3rd party plugins. I would prefer that the installer replaces the dock icon (when I install an update, I want to use it) - but I also want to have the old version installed - so please don't uninstall anything at all!

Why not let the user decide, whether to apply the old configuration or install a new clean version?

Re: fold/unfold effects via OSC
Joris, any chance to rename this thread - right now I would not consider this kind of discussions here. I think chances that others participate would be much higher.
Another OSC request: feedback from the BPM controller (or whatever it's called). Things like beats, bars, etc.

Re: Animating video clips via external audio sources
Hi minniemouse,
I'm not sure what you mean by "animate a selection of video clips", but you can animate parameters of videos / effects / video sources based on external audio.
I suggest to read the manual section here, just search the page for audio analysis
Hope that helps.
