I have a composition that I've been using for many versions of resolume and have a curious issue. Every time I start resolume, a clip will start. The layer does not have trigger first clip on load enabled and it's not the first clip. I'm not sure how to stop this behaviour without creating a brand ...

Stageflow has been my go-to for this type of mapping.
I usually have my base layers and then build on top, leaving my logo for the last look.

On the triggering a new random clip. My solution was to have a clip that was the shortest duration that when triggered, would autopilot to random clip on the layer. Works really well for doing just that.

I have the first gen one and if it's connected USB to the computer, you can send / receive ableton link. You could also create pictures if you wanted to send DMX to resolume to control DMX shortcuts if you are feeding artnet with a device. Key is you need to power through the USB on the computer ...

I do exactly this with my VJ. You can use the colorize effect and/or the Master FX plugin from juicebar. We have the opacity mapped to DMX as well as the RGB values. He can go in and out of color matching as needed.

I notice this sometimes, too. Make sure you are using DXV. I know it happens if tempos are not at 0 on the players, but even then, it happens from time to time.

I just picked up a new machine and went to install 7.17.1 on it. When it launches, clips do not show and the composition settings and source cannot be accessed. I uninstalled and went to 7.16 and all functions as expected.

Can we get the crossfader position mapped from ProLink Bridge / ShowKontrol to map to the resolume crossfader?

I updated to the newest Resolume. Here is what I'm still seeing both with Bridge and Show Kontrol.

2 Decks on channels 2 & 3 on the mixer, and the pro link players are 2& 3, respectively. This is so it's comfortable for the DJ and ensures the on-air works properly.
