Re: Issue transfer from Avenue 6 to Avenue 7

In the XML, are all of your uniqueID's unique? Going from Arena 6 to 7 worked great for me. Personally, anytime a Major release is pushed out, that is the time of year when I rebuild my comps from scratch. Especially when my original comp is over a year old. Gives me the time to re think my strategy...

Re: Resolume does not honor windows graphics settings

Whatever GPU your UI is opened on is what Resolume will use to be it's rendering GPU. Move your UI monitor to your eGPU and open the UI on that screen (I'd also make it your "primary monitor")

Hope that TB3 cable doesn't fail during a show ;)

Re: Resolume with ChamSys visualizer

CITP needed to die back in 2012, it blows my mind that people still use it. Resolume doesn't support CITP, as it shouldn't, as shouldn't any software, ever! What Resolume can output, is Spout/Syphon and NDI. Any professional grade visualizer will support both of those protocols. Haven't used a Chams...

Re: SMPTE video file format mystery

What is your LTC audio file's frame rate set to? 30? Under audio in Resolume settings, make sure your SMPTE settings match those of the audio file you are playing back to control your playhead. Converting your video file shouldn't have any affect on it's playback speed. Did you use Alley to convert ...

Re: Video record with alpha

Resolume records using a TurboJPEG codec, this doesn't support Alpha. IDK why, but this new craze for everyone wanting to record hour long VJ sets and the need for alpha is blowing my mind. Why the all of a sudden craze for this? This isn't what that feature was designed for. It's a quick way to cap...

Re: Most optimal way to stream between an opengl app and resolume

Sounds like you are having hardware issues not software. I can record several minutes at a time within resolume, or hours at a time with OBS. Might try upgrading your system.

Re: Most optimal way to stream between an opengl app and resolume

Spout is always more optimized than NDI in every scenario.
