Re: How Arena uses RAM

Hmmmmm....
With 6 clips if DXV3 playing in 4K@60, I'm only using 2.4GB on my system.
What GPU is set to render?
Do you have any FX running or is this a fresh new comp?
Can you expand the Resolume tree in task manager so we can see what is under it, using memory?

Thanks

Re: Maintaining transport edits when replacing clips

You should be able to achieve this using envelopes.

Re: Autopilot feature play next column

No....
What if you have clips playing in other layers that are not the same duration. you would just abruptly stop those clips because another clip dictates it?

What would be the purpose to ask for this? There's probably a much easier solution to your scenario.

Re: Alpha mode "straight" when inputting clips with Alpha

What!?
Then what would you do when someone hands you clips that have been rendered with that?

-1 on this for me

Re: How Arena uses RAM

When you load the videos into Resolume, can you please let us know what the codec of the clips loaded is using? It will show this information in the clip window. K-lite is a mess and should be un-installed.

You can even type

Code: Select all

oldY / oldX * newX
straight in the Resolume number box. But yeah, +1 for aspect locks
Doing math in ASS and the [space] shortcuts are seriously one of the main reason's i moved over to Resolume. It's the bee's knees!

Re: Understanding input maps for led screens

I'm going to do a LED mapping live stream, probably in the children of the input map page, sometime in the upcoming months to get some of the mysteries out in the open. i'll post a link on here as well.
it's actually 100% easier than mapping beamers.

Re: Preserve aspect input slice

Wouldn't hurt to have it, but shift and drag has worked flawlessly for me. you can also do a quick math conversion in excel in less than a min to get the exact numbers if you're that picky ;)

Re: Slice Transform / Stroke / Delay / Fill

I love them :D But indeed not so stable, results are unpredictable. Sorry for spoiling it , it just happened with my lazy ctrl finger still there Now comes the 500 emails a week about "why doesn't this work" or "how do i get this to work" or, "where is the documentation on this" some secret's don't...
