Are your controller's buttons definitely sending note information? You might need to programme the controller.

I get smooth playback all the time with 3 layers, but I push 320*240 to ensure that (off lappy internal hd and it looks fine to me). Smoothness is more important than sharpness in moving image I find.

Is that a dedicated RAID for your clips alone or is your os on it too? That could cause a ...

what midi channel are you using? I think res might behave funny on channel 1, try another channel.

Yeah that's exactly how it works. Some kind of wee checkbox would be nice to toggle how the bounce mode re-triggers I suppose.

A partial workaround would be to load two instances of the into the deck. Set one to bonce like you want and leave the other on 'straight' loop. Trigger the second clip ...

You can view fps with [ctrl][alt] if you use dvd-max type output (otherwise it shows up on your output)
