Re: Midi Mapping transport to active layer NOT specific clips
I too wish the midi mapping worked more like R2. I find it very difficult to move to the new interface as it is, let alone coming up with a new way to perform using MIDI.
edit to add: I'm amazed this hasn't been addressed. I remember when avenue first came out we all complained that it did not work ...

Re: MIDI clock not recognized
One thing that was obvious was that you must use separate audio and video clips to get really good timing on triggering clips. Re: MIDI clock not recognized
to be more specific, I was able to get Avenue to respond to Live's tempo changes, in other words there was a speed change on the BPM synced clip in Avenue when the tempo changed in Live. Still no clock from the Micro to UC-33e to Mac set-up though. I was using this same set-up with Resolume 2.41.

Audio Files not playing in reverse
I've been testing out some of my own AV media and cannot get them to play backwards like the sample clips included with the demo. I've attached an image of my movie settings.

Mac Pro Frame Rate low fps low?
I am not experiencing the blazingly fast speeds I expected with Avenue and my system configuration.
Running one 640x480 clip shows 39.6fps and three layers with difference mix mode and one automated BPM effect (metaimage) shows 30.51fps. I expected more like 60fps. Does this kind of performance ...

Re: Why did Resolume have to change?
well done, Bart. I can understand the reasons for changing the interface. They are just quite drastic. I think with some time my attitude will become better;)
