Re: live music video ingest on a mac

Oh wow, thanks for the reply! That is really a shame about USB3.0 not working on the mac. I think I have a solution for the delay. Luckily the DJ uses the new version of Serato, and it has a video delay compensation feature. I'll be able to offset their signal to remain in sync after it is ingested ...

live music video ingest on a mac

Hello, So I just secured a VJ residency that is unique. They have a DJ that will be spinning some music videos. I will fill in the rest. Currently I have a 3 screen composition configuration and was hoping to get an input from the music video DJ. Is there a USB3.0 ingest device that will work with R...

camera sources on the mac / wireless cam

Hello, I think it would be really cool to toss some wireless video cameras into the crowd and let them create the content live on the screens. Well, I've found some inexpensive cameras, now I have to figure out how to get resolume avenue to recognize them. What USB captures cards will appear in reso...

wireless webcam/video camera for audience participation?

Hello, I've been thinking about this for awhile now, and i am curious if anyone has pulled this off yet: I'd like to get a small wireless webcam/camera that i can walk around the crowd with that sends the signal back to Resolume. Has anyone found a nice battery operated camera with decent low-light ...

auto-level effect?

Hello, I've slowly been moving all of my material to Resolume 3.2, though there is one feature I can't seem to find. In 2.4, I could set the freeframe Levels effect to "auto". I would leave that effect running the entire night, and it would look GREAT when shooting surfaces other than a white screen...

opening decks from other compositions

Hello, Firstly I want to express how happy I am with Resolume 3.2 now! I finally bought a mac book pro and loaded Resolume on it, and it is loading decks 10 times faster than on my XPS dual-core laptop. Plus there is no stutter while the new deck is loading. Now for my question: In Resolume 2, I cou...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3.1.3 Released

Hi Resolume! Thanks for the updated version!! I ordered version 3 when you originally allowed pre-ordering back in the day. Haven't really used it live just yet though. I have a few critiques after using the latest version: 1. The deck switching is better, but it still isn't quick enough / fluid eno...

Re: triggering effects via midi/triggering clipz to active layer

Oh wow, that is really disappointing if there is no work around!

In version 2.4 I mapped all of the effects to my controller, and would have 20 or so different freeframe effects to choose from within each deck. Is there any equivelent to this in version 3?

thanks!

Re: triggering effects via midi/triggering clipz to active layer

Hi Joris, thanks so much for the reply!

Man, that is a major drag I can't map effects to midi!

What about with OSC and my Lemur? Can I write a script to trigger specific effects to the composition? Has anyone done this?

Thanks
