"When a patch is compiled, the dashboard presets are saved with it.
These presets are used by Resolume Arena/Avenue as presets for effects and sources."
That doesn't specify which presets are compiled, Wire or Arena.
As I'm compiling from Wire, the assumption is that the compiled presets are ...

Presets and compiling...No one mentioned this!!
If I create a Wire patch, I can create presets from Wire that will be available from Avenue or Arena.
If I load that Wire patch in Avenue or Arena, I can create further presets from there.
What I haven't seen mentioned in any of the documentation (maybe I've missed it but I've looked for it!) is ...

Re: BPM of wav changing on reopening
So far, I've figured out that it's happening with any long wavs. Anything longer than about a minute has this problem. I can understand Resolume is not detecting the correct BPM, but what I don't get is why Resolume is not saving the amended BPM.

Triggering column and clip selection
Triggering a column automatically changes the selected clip to the uppermost clip on that column.
There's no reason for this behaviour, and it is disruptive when doing certain tasks.

Re: Clip render problems
No, it's a .wav with a source.
It's not the entire wav though. I selected an area with the in-out brackets.
