Re: ms pinky implement midi out!

I haven't had a look at how they implemented the MIDI out part but we did had a quick look at their SDK a while ago. http://www.mspinky.com/SoftwareSpec_0.0.4.pdf Values they send out like, power, velocity, position are all doubles. So that's why i figured MIDI wouldn't suffice, i'm not rejecting i...

Re: ms pinky implement midi out!

Yes well audio effects in Resolume are all controlled via midi. I do agree with you, there are undoutably faster means of connecting two apps, and I'm affraid I don't know enough about them. However midi is still the standard for all music apps, for Resolume it'self also. If pinky used anything else...

Re: ms pinky implement midi out!

Ahh, now it's interesting you say this, I'm not sure I understand the reasoning. The way I see it is, 25 frames a second, isn't to fast a rate for midi to keep with, ok thats just to obtain normal playback speed, but compared to sound this visual data is already devided in to big easy to deal with c...

hijk279 is a virus.

I've started to see these viruses popping up on other forums too, sometimes they act as spam advertising product's other time's like this they just disrupt the funcions of the forum. I think you should check his history and maybe delete hijk279 post's and block hijk279 too obviously but also keep an...

Re: Assigning midi control to a clips speed.

I've grabbed this from another post I made on Midi smoothing, it may help. Midi smoothing allows you to smooth the motion produced by the remote control hardware and/or internal plugin and is frequently used in audio apps. Midi information is sent in chunks, a single midi channel is devided up in to...

Re: Record 0Bytes

Ahh the codec, have you tried installing the recomended codec: PICvideo M-JPEG codec v3 ?

http://resolume.com/download/

I found I didn't even have to buy it to get it to work, it just installed and ran.
