I am beginning to learn Wire. I've gone through all the tutorials and examples and am now trying to create my own patches.
One of the roadblocks is trying to search for nodes in Wire Editor. The list of nodes in the library has category separators, but you cannot collapse categories or filter for the category you want. In addition, the search function does not return expected results.
example
- I want to start with a shape
- I go to the library pane and enter "shape" in the search box
- most of the results returned have "shape" in the name or description, although "Slice Render" doesn't appear to have the word "shape" anywhere
- frustratingly, none of the basic shapes (circle, hexagon, line, etc.) are returned by the search
- all of the basic shapes are collected under "SHAPE" in the list but none of them appear to have the shape category applied to them
