Hi all,
I’m trying to optimize my setup for Resolume and could use some help configuring my system correctly with NVIDIA settings.
I have two GPUs installed:
RTX 1000 (intended for GUI / Resolume interface rendering)
RTX 4500 (intended for output rendering to screens)
My goal is to have Resolume’s interface run on the RTX 1000 to keep the heavier GPU (RTX 4500) fully dedicated to outputs and performance rendering.
Has anyone done this successfully?
What changes do I need to make in the NVIDIA Control Panel, Windows display settings, or any other relevant place to ensure this setup works as intended?
Specifically:
How do I assign the GUI rendering to the RTX 1000?
How do I make sure Resolume uses the RTX 4500 exclusively for outputs?
Are there any driver-level or BIOS settings I should be aware of?
Any tips, screenshots, or detailed instructions would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Gui GPU and output GPU nvidia setting
Use your more powerful card as renderer, windows tends to use the primary display's GPU as renderer, so this might need some driver specific setup.
The Nvidia driver has a setting which card to use for rendering with apps. But windows might override that too, so also check the windows display settings.
