getting a line in joined slices on LED panels

Post by dsquareddan »

Hey, I've ran into this issue before, but hopefully can get some info on how to solve.

So I have some slices that normally would be 128 pixels wide by 1280 tall. 10 LED panels in a column essentially. Because of my canvas size on the Novastar VX1000 canvas size is limited to 3840x2160. These Columns can't fit in the composition with the main screen LED wall, unless i split them in my mapping to be 5 panels high and then just rejoin in Resolume Advanced Output to be how they are.

The problem I'm running into, there is a slight pixel of aliasing or something where the slices join. If i do solid white colour and bring the brightness down, there's a single pixel of black, but then on either side of that it's like the pixels are brighter.

The problem is definitely from Resolume, because if I close resolume and just change my desktop background to a colour, those lines are not there. so I know it's not a problem with Novastar.

I've attached my Advanced Output and some images below.

Actually just realizing this is showing on the edges of slices that aren’t even joined. This is from the edge of a panel that’s at the bottom of the columns. They all have it. On the top and bottom of each slice. Weirdly, not the sides.

Could you doublecheck whether all your outputs, also your user interface screen, are set to 100% display scaling in windows display settings?
