temporarily swap backup computer

I use my laptop as my show machine but, having recently bought a mac Mini, I would like to try it out, is it ok to swop my backup licence between laptop and mac multiple times? I have a desktop which has my main licence .

Sure, you can unregister your license from your laptop machine, then this license seat is free to be registered on any other machine. This can be done as often as you want.
