Prevent layer references from changing with new layer insertions?

Still could really use a Layer Lock. Am I the only one using Video Routers?

I wanted to bring this request back up again. From what I can tell the requested functionality works with Groups. If you add, remove or change the order of groups the selected source group of a Video Router doesn't change.

I also wanted to point out this is an issue with Advanced Output as well. If you have a slice with a specific layer as a source then it also gets thrown off if a layer is added or removed. I can't think of any use case where you would want it to function that way.
