Generative Narratives is my ongoing project combining a modular Eurorack synth with generative visuals created entirely within Resolume.
Resolume is controlled from the modular synth using CV to MIDI conversion, and FFT is used for increased visual responsiveness.
The aim is to have an analogue/digital hybrid capable of producing a tightly synced audiovisual output ideal for live improvisation. From drones to techno to experimental, this setup is as versatile as it gets. With the visuals being entirely generative, the result is resolution-independent and has been used across the board, from traditional 16:9 projection to full dome.
