ETA for Flash support

Post by glasshopper »

Hello ... how are things going with the update which copes with Flash guys ...?
Don't mean to hound you - but am just waiting with baited breath ...

Did you get thru the issues that were bugging you with MAC's.

Cheers.

I'd like to know it too. I finally got the hang of resolume 3, but I miss Flash compatibility. the lack of this Flash feature makes ArKaos more attractive to be honest, and I bet I'm not the only one thinking this way...

No need to start threatening us by jumping to the competition, we mis Flash playback as much as you do and we are working on it as we speak.

Hi,
you can export flash movies as a Quicktime movie, this works for AS3 programmed Animation and for regular ones. Not the best solution but it works.

My solution so far is to record some flash movies in Resolume 2.41 to .avi (mjpeg). You can edit the flash clip with some freeframe effects in this way ;).
Then just load the recorded clips in Resolume 3 and you're good to go.

Still waiting with baited breath - the point is that FLASH is a lightweight vector format that can also be programmed to dynamically react - so converting flash to a video format seems like a wrong-un to me. I guess all I can do is keep waiting.

Yeah converting to video should only be done as a last resort solution. We're making good progress but no ETA yet ...
