Adding Clips ceases to work at an arbitrary time?

Hi guys Im running Avenue 3 on Mac OSX 10.5, a macbook pro. Just started with it, but odd thing is, after adding a few clips to a few different layers, lets say around 8 (its no definite number), suddenly dragging a new clip to either the deck slots or into the Clip Properties section just doesnt work (even with video clips ive used before, so i know theyre compatible). No error message, its just that when I have the movie being dragged with the mouse, the receiving object doesn't respond. I can still click the deck slots as if they were working,but they simply don't. Very frustrating for a new user

Any ideas?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing problems. I'm afraid that intermittent bugs like this can be quite hard to fix, but we'll do our best for you. If the problem is repeatable, could you use the 'send feedback' dialog to send us a step by step walk through to recreate it. Also be sure to send us your logfile as well!
