orange instead of pink?
for me pink is ok, but changing it would stop stupid gay issues around.
the back color has to be relaxing, so grey (as the green for the v1) is ok. only clips previews and selected tools (pink stuff) has to visually emerge from the background.
ALL ABOUT THE COLORS...
personaly I don't care what collor it is, as long as the program is working well I'm happy. I liked the original collor settings and I like the new collor settings with the grey and pink.
Think it's a bit sad that people can make such a problem over a collor setting..
If you want skins or collor settings..go play with winamp!

lol, funny how somethings never change. I was explaining some of the history of resolume to the younger vjs in our collective and was double checking some of my facts through forums came across this post.bart wrote: Wed Jun 02, 2004 16:09 building in colour preferences is indeed not quite rocket science but it is a couple of days work to get it running bugg free and we would much prefer to spend this time on more inportand isssues .. and we like a bit of controversy![]()
I have heard rumblings in more recent times about customising UI colours, and DEVs have responded that "Bart is pretty strict about the colour scheme." well it has served you well sticking to your guns on this.
Though I really liked the grey and pink scheme, maybe you could do a nostalgic custom skin selection, to let people choose between v1 (blue and blue), V2 (grey&pink), V3 (grey and Yellow) ect. maybe a 25 year celebration type thing.
