Its pretty darn hard to keep track of potential malware or spyware that may of gotten by. I was just reading about accusations that EA's origin service scans and collects data today. I actually keep a clean partition that is only used by Resolume for shows. I've found windows goes down hill pretty damn quick compared to mac and that's the only way I feel 100% comfortable. I'd give spybot search and destroy a whirl, it might find something mining data. I'm not surprised you can use the exact same mapping and clips on another machine without the drop outs.
