Datapath Card

Post by geogen »

Hi, I just bought resolume arena for my project, but sudently i found out that the datapath card sd4+1s doesn't work.

The exact issue that its works partially. DVI input works, but not 4 sd inputs.

I also found out that another datapath card with 2 sdi inputs works well, its flipped but works

Without support for datapath sd4+1s the program is useless for me.

Please advice,

If there is no solution, please tell me how I can recieve money back.

Regards,

George

So with datapath cards resolume uses direct show. So if one datapath card works the other should be handling it as well.

Did the datapath 4+1s work in any other programs? Can you send a screen shot of what not working looks like?

Also when a program has a free demo I tend to test my setup with the demo before paying a bunch of cash. Its a great way to test configurations. :)

Hi, thanks for reply
Cant make screenshots right now but the problem that arena sees 4 sd inputs, but when i pick one of them its just remains black

In other apps like dataton watchout and arkaos media server it's works flawlessly

I played a lot with demo version, tried bunch of different input cards like blackmagic, avermedia and 2 other datapath cards, all worked ok, some of them needed to customize in arena but generally i saw picture from all of them. So i bought the app and ordered sd4+1s card which i got today and boom it doesn't work

Very frustrating but i hope devs will find a solution for me

George

Datapath cards are not natively supported on Res 4. Full support is coming in Res 5, but that doesn't help you now.

You can contact us at mail@resolume.com.
