Live Camera Problems When Changing Decks

Hi All,

So, I am having a strange problem with my live camera feed when I change decks. For some reason Resolume won't save the camera format setting in my second deck, and when I change to deck two, the output goes black until I change the first camera source in the deck to the proper format. All of my other decks preserve the proper camera format, except the one deck. I am wondering if there is a fix for this?

Additionally, I am wondering if there is a way to more seamlessly change between decks without the momentary black frame that occurs as the new deck loads? Not sure if it is an issue with my deck arrangement, or how much media is in each deck, or if there is a better method for preserving a seamless live camera feed while changing decks.

Any info on either of these matters would be very welcomed.

I've had these exact same problems: the black frame 'stutter' and settings not matching across decks.

When you switch between two decks that DO have matching settings, do you still get the frame of black?

For Deck Two: Try removing the instance of the BM device in your second deck where it won't save the settings. Then save your comp, restart Res, go back in and try re-adding the BM clip. Set the clip to match parameters of the others and save your comp. Does it at least remember the proper setting in Deck Two now?

Thanks for the info. The black flash between decks seems to be inconsistent. I will try your advice and let you know how it goes.
