Urgent - half speed Fps

For some reason Resolume Arena 4.1.11 runs at half speed on my desktop now and without anything connected to it besides the control monitor and no clips in the deck.

I've tried everything I can think of short of a clean install but the Fps remains at ~30 Fps (between 29.97 and 30.01) whereas it used to run at ~60Fps (between 59.94 and 60.02) but now there is nothing I can do to bring the Fps back up.

When I run the benchmark, I get half the speed I used to get as well and I can run 20 layers of clean movies at ~18 Fps when it used to be ~36 Fps and 20 layers of noise movies at ~17 Fps when it used to be ~34 Fps

The GPU is a XFX Double D R9 270X 1050M Boost Ready 2GB DDR5 which has been running on this machine without any problems.

Any thoughts?

Have you checked
power settings, and confirmed that the card runs at maximum clock speed, with some system monitor app?
3d settings Wait for vertical refresh?
deleting arena's config file? Documents\resolume arena 4\preferences\config.xml

Have you tried playing different movies?
This weekend I went thru somethng very weird. One simple movie that was supposed to run at 60fps was running at 5!!!
I just reencoded it and it got back running on 60fps.

And actually the simplest question...I'm sorry for that...Is your output in the graficcard configuration of your computer set to 60 Hz?

@ Cosmowe - Yes it's set to 60 Hz

@ Plefberg - I didn't even have any clips or movies loaded into the deck.

@ Ravensc - I did change the 3D settings and it worked its magic. I also had a set of corrupted drivers from AMD so I cleaned everything and it's running find now. I'm actually using two cards in Xfire and I'm getting speeds up to 75Fps.
