Custom keyboard design

I'm starting the design of a custom keyboard to use on resolume...
i need you guys to say what are the functions that you use more to integrate on this keyboard
When i start bulding the keyboard i will post a tutorial how to build it....

have you got any images of your current progress in planing it?

what chip are you going to use? midibox? or code it your self?

i was thinking on an old keyboard controler
and assign shortcuts to the buttons

but if you know a simple midibox controller tell me....

its apparently very easy to do, all you have to have is some soldiering skills and time, and however much you want to spend is up to your needs etc.

what functions do you want or need?

do you only want sliders? or do you want buttons as well?

if i use a standart keyboard controller i can only use buttons
if i use a midi controller i can use slidders

it will be a special challange for you to simulate silders with buttons...

if i use a keyboard controller i don't even think on simulate sliders... it's impossible (i think)
