Resolume won't load clips into compositions

Post by thebigeverything »

Hi I have always used an external drive with a big folder of clips in it. I've bought a new ext hard drive and put the same folder onto that but although it works fine loading up clips into new compositions, all the old compositions won't load... It's not the end of the world but I did have a number of comps that had great combinations of clips on them...
Anyone out there know a way of sorting it?
Many thanks,
the big everything

Reconnect is good! You could also check if the new external drive gets the same drive letter like the old one...if not...you can change it and if your file path is exactly the same...it should work.

Thanks. reconnect won't work because I don't get any error or relocate messages as in the manual illustration. Renaming the new drive to the same as the previous sounds like a good idea - I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.
many thanks

To reconnect the clips you will not get a message....you have to click on relocate.

And you not have to rename the drive...you have to change the drive letter.
