Hey y'all I have a puzzle to solve here...join me:)
Softwares working with:
Adobe premiere
Adobe after effects
Resolume
Windows (can switch to Mac as last resort)
Final project is a music video.
Composition of layers (from bottom up)
1. layers of video loops effects (doing in resolume)
2. A pair of Floating lips-lip synced (doing in adobe after effects)
3. Audio track
In a perfect world the workflow would be:
1)Have adobe (after effects or premiere) open and running an audio track
2. Resolume inputting Adobe audio track and exporting its footage directly back into adobe
3. This way I get the easy synchronization of video and audio clips and can work in short bursts inside of resolume.
Back in the past, I did complicated audio routing and syphoning and had to manually align audio and video back into video editing software. It was a mess- scared to go down that path again.
Also on a random sidetone, does anyone know how to switch between resolume clips/boxes with a midi button? The arrow icon or whatever it to go to next clip is not midi mappable parameter within resolume (it is never highlighted when you click midi mapping) I know it can be done I saw ghost daddy from porter robinson do it, any leads?!
Thank you for your time ,
let me know if I can clarify anything
Workflow with Adobe and Resolume Music Video Project (Audio sync/other problems)

I would suggest exporting your lip sync with audio embeded in a single video/audio clip. Why not?
Don´t forget to not compress the audio. It must be uncompressed.
