Hello Everybody.
I am having a serious problem with my setup.
Everything is going well, fps at 60.00. Suddenly it fall to 6fps, 2fps, 5fps, 7fps, stays like that for let's say, 20 seconds, then gets back to normal.
It's terrible. People are in the room and this happens. The image and sound "stucks". I don't know the best word to use, so I'm using "stucks".
CPU is at 2%, Ram 16% and Ram at 14%. Resolume Arena 7,13.2 rev 1777423 September 2022.
Please, It's really bad. Don't know what to do.
Beste regards.
Playback "stucks" and get normal again
Re: Playback "stucks" and get normal again
If you keep an eye on the system resources, app CPU and Disk usage do you see a sudden climb somewhere?

Re: Playback "stucks" and get normal again
It's not possible to keep an eye on the system all the time. It happens with no warning, just happen. Is there a log file I can send you? If yes, where is it?
It never happen to nobody else?
Thanks.

Re: Playback "stucks" and get normal again
Getting such low fps, which recovers on it's own is likely a sudden high load on the system.
Could be a drive going to sleep and waking up, or the drive trying to recover from a read error.

Re: Playback "stucks" and get normal again
I was getting this issue a TON when I was pulling clips from a 3.1 flash drive, and noticed it was also pulling from the integrated GPU instead of the NVIDIA, even though it was configured to use the NVIDIA.
Eventually, I installed a 2TB drive to store all my clips locally, and haven't had the same "stucks" (love that term) issue since. Working theory is that the computer was using regular, insufficient CPU/GPU to real-time translate the files from the external drive, thus causing the noticeable and unbearable lag.
