power outage - midi not working

Last night I had a power outage and from then on I could never recover the project I was working on. That is, it was still in the compositions folder but it did not open, nor did it appear in my compositions list within the program so I could not extract the deks. Opening the composition in the notepad I could see that it did not finish saving all the information, I think it is because I was saving the project when the power outage occurred. Now I realize that the midi controller doesn't work for me either, I mean, it recognizes it but there is no way to make it work. I need to solve this. I have opened a new project and started from scratch, but I can't get the midi to work

solved, the midi preferences have been deconfigured, I had to uncheck the clock signal input. I lost the project definitively but the midi is perfect

Power outages can cause issues like this, especially with MLC SSDs but also when the OS write buffer hasn't been pushed to the disk yet.
An UPS is a great investment.

If the composition file is readable, you probably can save what's there, by removing the last open <clip section, and adding
</deck>
</composition>

to the end of the file.
