Wow! That did it... right on the nose! Looks like you'll be selling me a license for Wire now... or at least by the time the show arrives that I need this for in October unless another one arises sooner... It would be killer for stinger trans functionality to be built into Arena, but I know this software is aimed at the VJ market, however, I'm sure you are aware that a lot of us that work in corporate audiovisual and live corporate conference and events use Arena as well. Me and many of my colleagues in the business use Arena for our playback program, and this goes especially for LED wall shows.

Anyway, thank you again...and yeah, I guess I need to learn more about wire nodes as when I see what nodes and patching it took to achieve what I needed... yeah, I was NOWHERE near that and probably would never have arrived there on my own.

When I copy the patch and paste it into Wire I get the following error:

Upgrading to version 7.22.0 failed.
Stage: Convert to new Resource system
Reason: Missing field: 'local'

Right now I am using version 7.22.1.42250 on Mac OS 15.1.1

What I did was click "Copy" on the Wire Patch from this thread and then I opened a new Wire file that was blank and then pasted (command-v) and this error popped up in the logs.

I do not have a serial for Wire and was hoping to try before buying.

What do I need to do in order to get this to work?

I tried to download the old version of Wire that was dated just after this post where it worked.

I thought this might be the solution given the error I saw just now.

7.17.0 from Aug 2023 was the oldest I could find.

It did not install and gave me the following error:

"Oh, no! Wire could not be initialized (Could not initialize the project). Please contact mail@resolume.com for further help."
