Post by MyxoBrain »

hello,

i got some swf from the resolute media folder and from http://www.vjhoming.com/flashtxt/ .
i am on a macbook pro with mavericks, running arena 4.1.3

I got some issues:
-with flash player 16, it's not working
-with flash player 10.3 it is working (but not in my web browser anymore)
-with flash CC 2014, not working

do i miss something here?

thank you,

The forum is plenty with documentation about flash issues.
As is it usually explained by the Resolume Team, this is mostly an Adobe fault, since they keep changing important coding within Flash programming on each new release. So it seems difficult to keep on track just to solve Flash issues while there is so much improvements yet to be done to the main Resolume package. So, by the time they fix all Flash issues, Adobe will most likely be releasing a new version, that will not work as the same way as before.
So, as far as I can recall, Resolume Team gave up on trying to catch and match to all Adobe Flash versions and it is YES, recommended to use the late 10.xx versions to have it to work properly with Resolume.

Did I say something wrong?

No, you're correct Paulo.

We gave up on keeping up with Adobe, so now we just include a working version of Flash Player in the installer, just for use with Resolume. So you're automatically using the correct version with Resolume, which is completely separate from the version you use with your browser.

Best of both worlds ;)

All you have to do is make sure you've updated to the latest version of Resolume.
