Hi guys,
Need your advice about how to start up resolume 5 automatically. Seting up an installation with 3d mapping and need to make full automatically start up and shut down system every day one month period.
There is my set up scenario:
1. Start windows via bios with clock (made)
2. Start resolume arena at start up applications (made)
3. Start resolume clip paying automatically when application starts with fullscreen mode on three projectors ( need advice)...
Thank's for any advice. Pls help.
AUTOMATICALLY START UP RESOLUME 5
Re: AUTOMATICALLY START UP RESOLUME 5
look at the layer menu, you can set an option to play the first clip automatically on deck load, that should do it.
if you need more automation options like triggering a column at 6:35 pm look at this:

Cool project! Sounds like you're working on an art gallery installation...
Would love to check out photos when you're done.

I´d love to see that working. It is very interesting indeed. But I don´t see how it is going to work...
Even if you can auto start Arena and auto play the first clip, still... well.. it is a mapping project.
My two cents on it:
1. Every time I have a mapping project on which I had to reboot or reload Arena, it had never fit mapping properly at once. I always had to select/open the advanced output and save/close it. Then, it starts mapping.
Less important, but...
2. Long period mapping projects should always consider vibrations. Even small vibrations can move/displace the projector´s position during time. A 1mm displacement can affect your projection in centimeters, according to the projection distance. Not to mention the "cleaning team", removing dust from projectors ; )
