Today I noticed that I can not add SDI inputs.
I have decklink quad 2, with 8 SDI, 4 is output and is working as it supposed to do.

Re: DECKLINK quad 2 issue
I can't explain why, but I just arrived at the theater this morning to a similar issue. Not identical, but similar. All of a sudden, the entire Quad 2 was gone, unseen by Resolume or the Blackmagic Video Control app.
Caused a huge panic. The sequence that got it back was this. (Restarts after each step)
- Uninstall Blackmagic Desktop Video 11.6 (the best version I think for the Quad 2)
- Reinstall 11.6
- Uninstall 11.6
- Install version 12.2 (This version suddenly prompted me to do a firmware update)
- Updated Quad 2 Firmware (Still didn't work)
- Uninstall 12.2
- Reinstall 11.6 (ANOTHER firmware update was prompted)
- Updated Quad 2 Firmware again
Success.
I have no idea why this suddenly happened. My guess is that Windows pushed an update that I didn't see that caused it.
Good luck!

Oh, that sucks!
At least you found a way out, could be a great post on the blackmagic forums.

Re: DECKLINK quad 2 issue
omg found the issue!
the update of decklink to 12.2 and resolume 7.6.1 and 7.7 in combination gets this issue for me on this machine
Also did not only downgrade but also downgrade on hardware (forced usb update on decklink)
Vent back to 7.5 and 12.1 and it is all good again.
and I could reproduce the error so there is something crazy
this is not a problem on my laptops, only this desktop

Re: DECKLINK quad 2 issue
100% why I use the AJA Corvid line of SDI PCIe cards. BMD is a nightmare to get working with 1000 different driver combinations and not even BMD knowing what order it will take to make things work. God awful company! Good luck <3

Re: DECKLINK quad 2 issue
Arvol, I'm totally ready to jump ship, but is there a viable replacement for the Decklink Quad 2 in terms of outputs?
I see the AJA Corvid 88, but at nearly triple the cost, I've always dismissed it. Anyone have any successes with it?

Re: DECKLINK quad 2 issue
Tom Bass and myself have had really good luck with the Corvid cards. Decklink also makes great (expensive) SDI cards. Personally I prefer the AJA
