annoying updating

It's very annoying that Resolume asks you about updating to a version that you're not entitled to have with no warning about this. Extremely bad UX!

Yes I agree and we already have some good ideas on how to improve that.

If you hit skip this version, does it not go away?
Letting users know when an update is available is kind of a big thing, you know, for those bugs you submitted that got fixed

Letting users know there's an update is good.
Allowing them to install it without them knowing that they have to pay for it is not.
