Resolume crash on startup - OSX

Hey,

I'm having a weird crash on Arena start up. When opening a project with multiple videos, it loads the interface fine, but then immediately crashes, and I have to force quit the application.

The crash happens only on compositions that have videos in them. Anything without videos opens up just fine. Another strange behaviour is that if I load up a project without video, then load up a second project with a few videos (5ish), and then open up a project with lots of videos (7-8+), it will open. If I don't follow that order, then the project with lots of clips crashes immediately.

I'm on a Mac Studio (Ventura 13.0.1), and the Arena version is 7.13.2

Any ideas on how to fix this?

In short, try converting your mp4s to DXV.

We're looking into an issue where trying to open many mp4 files on Monterey and later, the OS file readers slow down a lot, to the point where Resolume can appear frozen.
Try renaming the last composition Resolume wants to open on startup, that should at least allow Resolume to start.

Hi,
I have similar problem but slightly different.
When I lunch Resolume Arena 7.15.0 on my 2019 MacBook Pro I9 + Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB + 16gb ram it opens the project from last gig and it immediately freezes and I can leave it for whole night running and nothing will happen I will only see apple colorful loading circle as my cursor. It is true that there is like 30 videos in there and they are not converted but it worked just fine with no problem basically just yesterday.
Did you solve your crashing problems?
Do anyone have idea how to solve it? Because I would love to use that project again.
