Key Mapping

Post by VJzoo »

any chance we will be able to use +/- on a PC keyboard to speed up and slow down layers? at the moment you have to use a midi device as you dont seem to be able to assign more than one key to speed.

also a toggle direction would be nice like in R2. play forwards, play backwards as well as toggle direction.

EDIT: tested with a midi device and layer speed only effects one clip but doesn't control the speed for all clips on the layer at once which would be a good option.

Hey VJZoo

Thanks for your suggestions.

Good idea. It would require an extra two buttons in the interface, but if we can fit it in, we'll add it.

This has been requested quite a few times now. As mentioned before it's already on the to-do list, but thanks for reminding us.

The key word there is indeed 'option' since other users/other situation may require the speed setting to be clip specific. This is probably a bit more difficult to implement, but we'll look into it.

Thanks again

Joris
