When you switch decks, your selected clip will be cleared and unloaded, so you can't access it any more direcly.

Clips from other decks playing in layers can be selected and interacted with, and it indeed looks like they could do selected clip midi shortcuts in earlier versions.

We've seen reports of new issues with the newer nvidia drivers, which we're still investigating, so I'd rather recommend to go back to 550 instead of updating to the latest, but you can try either if you'd like.

I believe you, that you saw someone claiming to be a reseller.

They could be one. Official resellers don't require to activate stuff on your machine using remote desktop though.

Reinstalling and offline registration is only a temporary solution.
Offline reg will still need to connect to the server to check the license in 30 days.
The connection issue needs to be resolved for that.

click copy there on the patch post above,

Then open Wire and paste to the patch with control + V or Command + V if you're on mac.

Set patch category to mixer and save the patch.

This one, about the initial composition load, yes.

There are other issues though Microsoft messed up to keep an eye out for.
