Re: Choosing osc to send instead of all or none
That's a weird bug with the OSC outupt checkbox, I've made a ticket.
Selecting decks by name is not possible via OSC currently. The deck select osc messages could help, if you keep the decks in the same order on both machines.

Re: Adding layers causes cells in other decks to shift downwards
Decks are the collection of clips. Layers are part of the composition structure, not stored in the decks.
The clip grid is basically loaded into the composition structure, not touching existing layers, and adding layers if there are more rows of clips than there are layers.

Re: Choosing osc to send instead of all or none
If you create a new OSC preset, that will be your "custom" one.
Clip triggers are easy to map, you can click on a clip thumbnail, and then select all clips in composition. That's one shortcut for all clip triggers.

Re: edited Wire patch now has all parameters set to their defaults
Arena can tell Wire patches apart by their UIDs. If that changes, it's regarded as a dfferent patch.
The UID changes by doing a save as.
Copying the whole patch, like select all and copy, indeed has the patch ID, but pasting that to an opened, or a new patch, you should not get the Identifier ...
