Even if you create your parameter in the constructor and you still don't have this data, you can set your parameter to it after.
How?

P.s. the integer type is working now, had a typo

Re: FFGL - How to get Texture info during creation of parameters

Thanks for the quick reply flyingrub! I am writing for FFGL2 and changed the param creation into : addParam( paramWidth= ParamRange::create( "Width", 0.0f, { 0.0f, (float)currentViewport.width } ) ); But the ints are not set yet at that moment of creation, am I missing something? Also thanks for the...

FFGL - How to get Texture info during creation of parameters

Hi, Simple question, I am still trying to figure this one out. Is there a way to get the actual texture size in pixels during the creation of the parameters? An example of this is the Crop effect that retrieves the canvas size during creation. Also is there a way to display the +/- ui display like t...

Re: MIDI Rotary Controllers and snapping values

Interesting, I've used the Akai for a very long time. Now my set consists of 1 mk2 and the F1.
I must say I have more headaches with the F1 which forces you to load up their software from time to time as I manually program and change their LED color with an external app

Re: is there a "stopwatch" function in resolume?

This sounds like an automated process. Quick answer is no, you can't do it specifically that way in Res.

A good option is to use a sequencer that triggers it for you.

Re: MIDI Rotary Controllers and snapping values

It's a hardware limitation. The Traktor F1 has absolute rotaries, so it will always stick/jump from where you start dialing. (Except the one on top of the Browse button, you can try that one) Arena can send midi feedback to update your rotary, like in the case of the Akai APC. Those rotaries are end...

Re: Soft loop

Well, technically you can hack your way around. The key is to offset the animation so you can crossfade between this one in and out so the perfect effect for this is Delay RGB with all 3 sliders full on. Then just crossfade the effect at the beginning and end (but dont fade out to 0% otherwise it wi...

Re: Naming Effects in the stack

Nice idea, what about being able to color label them like the layers as well :-)
