Re: Akai Apc 40: No Led-Feedback

In resolume you need to set the midi clock out, so it sends midi back to your APC40 Mll.
https://resolume.com/support/en/midi-shortcuts
If that does not do anything it is possible that there some resistor lose on the print board of you APC40.
That can easily happen, APC40 Mll are not shock proof ...

Lossless Scaling

Hi Folks, i just came across Lossless Scaling and wondered if i could work for Resolume. Upscaling and generating more frames when 60fps is not reached. https://store.steampowered.com/app/993090/Lossless_Scaling/

Visuals are quilt different then video game footage. So maybe only up-scaling is ...

I feel your pain in lossing the Mapio plugin. I had some sick setups using the Mapio to remap video's inside my composition. Having Wire gives some new freedom's, but Wiire can not do what Mapio added.

Re: Wire Tutorial - Frame Freeze

For better performance i use the Crossfade node to get the same effect.

If you render static video(texture) elements, you can use feedback to create a framebuffer.
Then you can disable the render pipeline for you static texture and use the framebuffer.
Then you need to build some logic to update ...

Re: Three ways of patch optimalisation

I work the same way, at first make shit pretty/functional.
Then optimise/consolidate/bypass/test.
I can build a patch in a few hour, then spend a day testing and cleaning it up :P

Re: Three ways of patch optimalisation

@Markymark, i will investigate this. There are some big draw back of attribute and event time.
But its a interesting puzzle to figure out when to use them :).

Do you know why the Patch Info outputs in signal time?
It would be very helpful to get the resolution of the patch in attribute timing, so i ...

Re: Compatibility question

i have a additional question.

When you build a node in 7.20 compile (cwires) it and load it in a newer version, do the nodes still update to the new version? Or is a compiled (cwires) patch locked to its version?

Re: Three ways of patch optimalisation

Hi everyone,

i made another patch to speed up render times. This one lets you downsample in 16 discrete steps.
In the patch are a few comments to get you going.

(bug?)
The step size that handles the resizing steps is now 1.175, and it also works at 1.125, other steps need to be found.
Other ...

Re: Slice Animator

Windows 10 is not so bad, but it would still mean a clean install for my laptop.
In win10 its easier to disable all the telemetry collection then win11.
But its live time also limited, it will not take long before its also not supported any more. Software and battery are the only things that really ...
