You can find a sample of equirectangle footage here. https://www.entapano.com/en/l/panorama.html
Controlling the view could be possibly like how GoPro VR (formerly KolorEyes) does it. https://vr.gopro.com
Of course you would want it with mappable controls, midi/Osc.

Very possible.
someone thinks it's possible to have a ffgl plugin for resolume that transforms a 360° videoclip (equirectangular) like facebook and youtube does? you could have parmeters like: field of view, camera position, camera rotation, ... would be an effective but simple plugin for 360° content. ;)

Re: KINECT+RESOLUME
Can be done with Processing, Spouted to Resolume.
Use NI-mate to get tracking coordinates from kinect.In Processing run the MSAfluid patch and use the kinect coordinates to control particles. Many steps.
Or try ZVector. Lil different type of visuals but easier.

Blackmagic output
On blackmagic devices with outputs, for example an intensity shuttle. Is input and output supported at the same time? (Assuming you have enough bandwidth available).
I have tested on my older Intesity Pro cards and USB3 Shuttle and on my system is;

Throw ratio: .4 to 1
Got me couple of projectors with a .4 to 1 throw ratio.

Kinect on ios? Apple/Primesense
I have no experience with it but seems to be like Kinect on ios. Primesense tech "original kinect" share compatible specs. If it is, then I know what to expect. Resolution are pretty low when used as a scanner for 3d printing. Does okay for just as a reference type deal but not a scale replica with ...
