Re: codec regression
Had a look at the file, for me it's not playing in Resolume 5 either.
Without qiucktime installed it won't even load, with quicktime it displays as white.
Trying to play the file in qiucktime directly, qiucktime tells me to download some additional component for which the link is broken on the apple website.
I tried to play the file in windows media player also without any luck.
So yeah...
Resolume 6 doesn't use quicktime as playback engine any more, but as it looks, even if it would you can't get the component needed from apple any more.
It's not easy to say this, but I think you need to look for an alternative screen capture program, or choose a different codec for encoding the video if you need to use the videos in resolume (or windows) directly.
H264 should work for example in Resolume 6, not sure if Fraps has support for it.

Re: codec regression
Fact is fps1 is a propietary codec, just for windows (there's not such thing as quicktime component for it).
Maybe that's related to ffmpeg, and his legal ability to deal with propietary codecs. Can't think a way to play with that on resolume side.

Re: codec regression
I can't play it in quicktime anyway, but was and am still able able to use them in any resolume version until 6.
