Sounds like a great opportunity for a Wire patch.
I've built out similar patches in the past. Each slice get's it's own transform control. It does however eat up a LOT of UI real estate.
NICE! i still haven't internalized myself in assembling tools with WIRE! It a pending and very powerful ...

I use the SLICE TRANSFORM tool a lot and I have a suggestion that could improve performance when we have different slices with measurements that represent different image proportions.
