Re: Option to NOT conform video duration to audio

No, we were dropping the audio straight onto the video clip. I considered adding it to a separate layer and then doing the column trigger thing, but that would make our setup extremely unwieldy, since we have 16 clips that each need to trigger independently (ie each one needs its own layer). Another...

Re: NDI plus private network for TouchOSC - possible?

Get a USB3 to Ethernet adapter, so you are able to have two Ethernet connections.

By setting a static IP address on each Ethernet connection with a different subnet mask, you can bind the NDI traffic to one adapter, and your OSC traffic to the other.

Option to NOT conform video duration to audio

Simple request: Current behavior is that when you add audio to a video clip, the duration of the video is set to match the duration of the audio. We recently did an install where we wanted a simple UI sound to play whenever a video was triggered. You'd think it would be easy to just drop it on the c...

Mapping Matter is really good https://www.mappingmatter.com/

However the pricing might be prohibitive.

Re: I have this thing with A7....

Yeah, me too. Resolume Arena 7.0.5 Windows 10, Nvidia 1080GTX card. Long running installation, one 3960 x 1200 background clip, and up to 16 792 x 1200 foreground clips, all DXV or HAP. Noticed that after 4-5 hours there would start to be a frame drop every couple of seconds, and then about an hour ...

Re: Matrox QuadHead2Go

It's a lot better than a TripleHead (though obviously a lot more expensive) A lot of graphics cards are constrained to a 4k horizontal resolution limit, which means that with a TripleHead you can only achieve 3x 1280x720 displays. However, with the QuadHead2Go in a 2x2 configuration, you can achieve...

Re: Possible to use Resolume without a control monitor?

I ended up using a Matrox QuadHead2Go, it worked perfectly.

Was able to drive 4 projectors + control monitor. VNC worked great to access the control monitor.

Re: Matrox QuadHead2Go

Just used this on a gig. Totally seamless. Plugged it in, appeared as a 3840 x 2160 @60 hz monitor. Each output 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz.

Didn't even bother updating firmware or hooking up the network cable for configuration.

Re: Step Sequencer for Resolume Avenue - Max patch

Probably a bug on my end. It looks like I send a RESYNC command but never actually complete it. The tap tempo button will also resync. You don't need the paid version of Max. Updated to 2.0 which supports Resolume 6 (it doesn't work with previous versions) Hi there, first of thanks for this addition...

Re: Possible to use Resolume without a control monitor?

Thanks, that makes sense. The main challenge is that I do need to map the output. So one way to do it is to set up my 4 outputs going to virtual screens, and start by assigning outputs to the ones that don't have the UI. Then use the UI to map those three. Set one of them back to a virtual output. S...
