You can join multiple color in nodes to feed the shape render node with instanced colors. This way you have individual widgets for the colors and you can give them a name. Something like this:

Yes this is not great at the moment, we're adding test/dummy slices to the Slice Input node in Wire in the next release, 7.10.

Rive looks very nice! They have a C++ runtime for embedding their animations in other apps so theoretically it could be possible to integrate into resolume...
